Where + when should the session take place?
I am a natural light photographer and shoot on location at your house, a park or location of your choice, options are endless! Late afternoon light is my favorite but if we are shooting indoors morning light is best.
How long will my shoot take?
My portrait + lifestyle sessions are one-hour. How we spend that time is up to you, we can shoot in different rooms, change wardrobes and have a blast! Newborn sessions tend to take a little longer because they need feeding breaks and extra love in between shots.
What should I wear?
Think Simple and Classic. Nothing too "matchy- matchy" but patterns are fun to incorporate as well, as long as all colors and patterns compliment each other.
What should my child wear? How should I prepare?
-Solid colored onsies for your newborn, its nice to have a couple on hand in case there are any “spills”
-Any colored hats, blankets, & wraps for your newborn, solid colors work best with no logos but patterns are fun, so keep those handy as well!
-Helpful to have formula or pumped milk handy when baby becomes fussy. Pacifier’s aka “mute buttons” are sometimes helpful to have handy if you are already using them in your routine.
-Please have your little one fed and happy upon my arrival; we will take a couple feeding breaks mid session to keep the little one happy
-Layering clothes are always fun, bare feet are best and accessories are amazing! Think tutus, hats, balloons and anything else that assists kids be kids!
-I can provide some fun props upon request but with kids it's fun to include their favorite toy or an accessory they enjoy, it helps them to stay in their "element" when the cameras clicking away.
-Plan a few different wardrobe changes, as we will try to fit in as many as we can.
